Etihad, the second-largest airline of the UAE, announced that it will no longer offer a free chauffeur service to its business and first class passengers at all arrival destinations, except for Abu Dhabi airport.
This policy will come into effect from 3 July. In stead of the free chauffeur service, Etihad will offer a paid chauffeur service for all-class passengers who have the ability to accrue Etihad Guest mile on bookings. However, those who travel with Etihad’s premium The Residence cabins on A380 aircraft flying to London, Paris and New York will continue to enjoy the free chauffeur service from the company.
Given the fact that many customers prefer to make their own airport transfer arrangement, the company is working to amend its chauffeur services across the world’s destinations.
